Fred is the head designer and printer of Hosco Press. After discovering his intense love for music and design as a child, collecting rock flyers quickly became his passion. He first began to design/collage black and white flyers for his friends bands at the same time always craving more. After seeing some of the amazing artwork that was coming from Frank Kozik, Lindsey Kuhn and Pablo Griggs, Hosman's mind was blown and screen printing his own gig posters was the next logical step.
Educated in printmaking and graphic design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Hosman’s work is traditional in process, but unique in its use of imagery. Hosman now works with bands and production companies to make hand screen printed posters for band publicity and or merchandise.
